Farmers' markets
Whilst the majority of our fruit is sent to packing houses and destined for the central market systems of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane we are slowly expanding the farmer markets and fairs that we now attend.
Selling our fruit at a farmers market allows us to deal directly with our customers - we love the positive feedback this provides us, and our customers are happy as they couldn't buy their fruit any fresher! Farmers markets and buying direct from growers is certainly becoming more popular. People are becoming more interested in finding out about who is growing the fruit they buy and where it actually comes from.
We intend to expand more into this direct market area with pre-ordering becoming available and delivery to a number of areas in the South West Slopes, Riverina, Port Stephens, Hunter, Newcastle and Canberra areas. Contact us at Willowvale Orchards to see if we will be covering your area.
